Hypnotherapy is a safe yet powerful tool to help facilitate positive change.

Our minds work on two levels, conscious and subconscious. You think, make decisions and act mainly with your conscious mind. The conscious mind can hold only 7 things at a time. The subconscious mind, however, links to our automatic nervous system and controls our breathing, keeps our body temperature stable and handles thousands of other sophisticated processes simultaneously that keep us alive.

All the information we have learned over the years is stored in the subconscious mind so that we can perform daily tasks like driving a car without having to think much about it. The subconscious mind is in charge of running our behaviors automatically – including our habits with food – without us even being aware of it. That is why attempting to change these patterns on the conscious level through restriction and willpower is very difficult and does not work in the long term.

Hypnosis can influence the subconscious mind so that change happens smoothly and naturally from within. Imagination is more powerful than willpower.
